These are really good chains but require a bit of patience and some time to install though. Deflate your tires at least partially and the chains will go on much easier. Then re-inflate them after you get the chains on. When re-inflating, make sure you add enough air to ensure that the chains won't slip. I bought these chains to help me mow a very steep yard. Without the chains, mowing was treacherous if the grass was the least bit damp. With the chains, I can mow even the steepest parts of my yard which exceed a 45 degree angle in some areas. I recommend locking the chains onto your tires with a bit of nylon cord, some stiff wire or part of a coat hanger.

This is the best set of chains I have ever had. Easy to put on and get tight with a good ride also. The chains have not came off sense I installed them wish I could say the same for the John Deere chains. I'm thinking about getting a set for it too.
